I for one would be interested but I also like to mix things up. I would LOVE to see a PVD/DLC edition or carbon fiber or ceramic cased model as well.

Come on guys, variety and choices are good!

The BB bronze Tudor doesn't have a date so it's a no go for me.

OK. It patinas rather fast. A few hot summer days and some sweat will get it going.

A bronze submariner with green dial? That would be killer

Nope. Not interested in bronze or its gradual darkening.

Leave the bronze to Richemont. They do a great job with it. Rolex needs to concentrate on making small incremental improvements to their unobtainable ceramic bezeled stainless steel sport watches.

I think the patina aspect is awesome but I'm not sure how "high end" I find the material. Knowing Rolex that'd make it perfect.

I also don't really get the craze.

...wouldn’t solid bronze be the heaviest of all metals to make a watch out of? Talk about wearing your arm out.............

Tudor offers Bronze options. They look nice brand new. I’m not sure I will like the look when it starts looking like this

I would have interest, but from what I hear of RSC service, they don’t like patina on even their most perfect of vintage watch offerings. Could you imagine the ranting and raving of owners getting their nicely patina’d bronze Rolex back from service looking nice and new?

Yes, I would love it if Rolex made a bronze sub or SD. I would buy one, absolutely.

Already got one. Rolex bronze is called Everose.

Seriously though, no I don’t think they will make bronze cases. IMO bronze came and has left the station. Personally I would like to see a Rolex ceramic, but I won’t hold my breath.

Millennials like bronze. Boomers not so much. It has to do with millennial's preference for things that have patina.

Bronze bracelets are problematic, so leather or rubber would be necessary. I can't imagine any of the current pieces that aren't already on either being switched by Rolex to accommodate a new case material. That's what Tudor is for.

A watch dial in that patina might be interesting.

No on the bronze. After my Navy service I swore to never own another personal piece that needed any Brasso or any other polishing product.
