Right. Because putting diamonds on luxury watches never results in luxury.

What a topic ... Daytona Platinum or DD YG ifffff ... wouldn’t even call on Nadal’s diamond Daytona ... for daily wear we still talk about rare SS or TT models ... on top of all of it Rolex is still different league then Patek - AP - VC etc. where we talk big figures I guess ...so asking one’s the question about most prestigious or valuable Rolex you may easily end up auctioning Paul Neuman’s Daytona .... would you wear it though

Hey, let’s talk ‘bout serious and interesting things out of Rolex world ... nice evening to all genuine Rolex aficionados

Hideous every one! Unfortunate that people associate crass "money" with crass "prestige". Humans are idiots sometimes. The fact there are enough humans wanting these watches for Rolex to produce them is even sadder.

Interesting responses with a few demonstrating a degree of loss of self-awareness.

The vast majority of humanity would consider most people on here - the sorts of people who have spent a minimum of a five-figure sum (i.e. more than the average global citizen’s annual income) on ornaments that tell time less accurately than a 20 buck Casio to be crass, ostentatious posers, rather than the tasteful, discerning watch hobbyists most of us might claim to be.

I like the Sub, though personally if I was spending however much money it costs on one watch, I probably wouldn’t be buying a Rolex.

My answer would be a 36mm yellow gold DD with champagne dial.

And I think that watch is prestigious on this forum and outside of it.

Ronaldo must have a high taste. Look at his career, look at his girlfriend, look at his house, look at his cars.

People who says ronaldo have a bad taste is wrong. Its his high class taste

The vast majority of humanity doesn’t care about watches nor do they pay attention to our Watches. I swear some people give too much credence on how much other people pay attention to their own personal interests. What you think and like is just not that important to the vast majority of other people. Sorry.

Bro most of those watches are for people who live in the capital city of the hunger games franchise.

That is somewhat beside my point. I know and agree that most people don’t notice our watches.

I think it’s hypocritical to say “anybody who buys the watches posted in the OP has no taste or is a poser” as some have implied, whilst wearing something which if an average person knew what it was/what it cost would judge you similarly. It’s a double standard displayed on here frequently.

None of those. The most prestigious watch is the Day-Date in any of its versions.
Those others are pure vulgarity

^^^Bingo. Also, a watch is a barometer of your financial status, is extremely short sighted. For example..”He wears a SS Rolex because he can’t afford a PM model”..... That is a ridiculous assumption.

I can’t relate to what you’re talking about. My neighbor owns a $40,000 Harley Davidson. I don’t judge him. Our other neighbor spends at least that much traveling the world every year. That money he’ll never get back and no one judges him. So what you’re saying is if they knew I had a day date and I explain to them how much it cost they would judge me? That’s what you’re saying? I thought most people on this thread are only accusing those watches of being hideous. I absolutely love German cars. If I saw someone driving around in a pink with purple polkadots R6 I would say their car was hideous.
