I have the SubC 116610 and the SD43 126600, I hope to add the DSSD soon, the 3 modern Rolex divers would be wonderful for me. The SD43 is my favourite watch, a keeper.

I owned both and sold my Deepsea. SD43 is perfect for me.
I had the newest Deepsea but could not justify owning both the DSSD and SD43.

I am having the same issue, like today! I have an itch for something new outside of the sea dweller line and it would make sense to let one of these go.. However I love them both and I go back and forth on which one is better. Depends on the day. I do not think I will part with any of my sea dwellers any time soon.

I have a DSSD, SD43, and SD4k. 40mm gets far most time.

I have both and love them each for different reasons. I got the original D-Blue and of course loved it because it was so different from my 40mm Rolex sport watches and, really, any other watch.

But then when the SD43 came out, to me it looked like a “large Sub” but was a Sea Dweller, and I wanted to complete my Sea Dweller collection and purchased that too.

I really enjoy wearing both, a lot. I wear the SD43 on more days, it’s lighter, smaller height, and like my 40 mm watches I don’t really notice it. But then when I want to have FUN, I roll up my sleeves and put on that DSSD bad boy and enjoy it so much. It’s just a fun watch with its huge height and thick, distortion-domed crystal. Wow, I just love it.

So I will never sell either. One is all business and the other is all fun. They are both so cool.

I picked up a Deep Sea last year. Already had a SD43 and a couple of Submariners, but I loved the build and design of the Deep Sea. I used to have the prior model years ago. I just never wore the thing. It was too big and thick for me, so I let it go a couple of months ago. The Deep Sea is a beautiful watch, but not a keeper for me.

I have the black dial Deepsea, SD43 and SD4K.

Happy to rotate all and wouldn't sell any.

They all wear differently but have their own individual appeal.

NICE

I keep contemplating swapping one of my two SD43's for a SD4000, I think you have the perfect diver trio.

Really comes down to a shape of the wrist thing on this one. The new dssd is far more comfortable than the original I had years ago

Why do you have 2 43s?

I've owned a DSSD and wore it as a daily wearer for 5 straight years. I was always conscious of it on my wrist especially when it came to desk diving and walking through doors. No joke.

I sold it and got the SD43 and been wearing that for almost 2 years as a daily wearer.

I find the SD43 more comfortable. I ended up selling the DSSD not so much because I wasn't wearing it anymore, but because Rolex brought out the JC. Had my DSSD been the JC version, I'd still have it to this day with the SD43.
