I'm in Loudoun and would love to get my hands on a BLNR. I dont have a relationship with any local ADs in DMV so no shot to acquire one. Any help would be much appreciated.

Its clearly not for everyone. Newcomers may not know these were the worst sellers in the sports line for years. ADs dreaded getting them. Along came the internet and the rest is history.

I truenes did the same thing and turned down a chnr not long ago. I debated for a while because of the hard to get thing and I may have decided to buy it if I already owned the Teo watched I really want but I decided to pass. Hoping one day I get the shot at the white gold Daytona Oysterflex and a steel blro but I’m not going to spend money on any others in the interim.

Love the LV. Ten years in production, and you don’t see a lot of them. The Sub black is a bit boring, prefer getting the SD43 over it if I really wanted a black bezel. You did good buying what you like. Better leave the watch for someone who really wants it.

(I know this is not a popular opinion) I would just have gotten it, and traded it on the gray market for the daytona (or whatever watch you really want). That's the world we live in, don't hate the players, hate the game.

Nothing wrong with that. However, and I could be wrong, I don't think the value a Grey would give you as a trade would really make it worthwhile. At least not in CA with our nearly 10% sales tax factored in.

I don't see it much differently than real estate. If I found a property at a deal (relative to the market's current conditions), I'd buy it, rehab it and put it back onto the market. |

Kudos, I have to agree with you, I wouldn't buy to flip. I make my money my own way. It's a nice piece but not for me either. I turned down a black Daytona from my AD last year, just not a fan, got the Blnr instead. Buy what you love..

The LV was a dog for years and now its hot so people like it. Funny how most people are unoriginal and only go with the crowd. You are original, good for you

I bought an LV in December that the AD was able to get right before my birthday. I saw one on the wrist of a fellow watch enthusiast back in 2017 and for me, it was the Sub to have.

Good for you my man.
Too many people on here fell for the hype. You look at their collections its all the bloody same BLNR, LV, BLRO, Daytona. Seriously there is no individuality in any of those collections anymore. Its funny people want to these "rare" and "hyped" pieces but 1000s of so called collectors have EXACTLY the same watches in their collections. LMFAO. |

A cool watch for sure but you really have to be ok with how green it is. I saw one of these in the case in 2016 before they really got hard to find. I loved the sunburst dial but couldn’t get over the bezel. It looked almost like a plastic pastel green and it was an easy pass for me.
