Thought it was awful. Actually the last few times I have seen Lopez on TV trying to sing and dance I felt embarrassed for her. At her age she looks ridiculous, to me.

It was a near-perfect showcase of a modern record company's dream of pop music performance. (read into that as you will)

Yeah it was pretty fantastic - her hips don't lie.

I thought Shakira stole the show. 43 years old. I wonder how many people caught the kids in cages?

She was incredible. JLo on the other hand.

And I think the cages have escaped the attention of the media here for the time being.

This was the perfect halftime show!

NFL tried to appeal to the female viewers while simultaneously denigrating women (#MeToo dopes) for the male viewers looking at their insane bodies, stripper moves, and scant outfits.

Brilliant strategy whomever thought of it.

It was nice to see a couple hotties trot around (JLo looks amazing), I can appreciate their choreography, but the music sucks and eye roll political overtone. Who was that guy in the space looking outfit rattling off in Spanish? I guess it's all for the kids.

I guess PETA would have had an issue with goats. But kids are okay I suppose.

Shakira is/was predominantly a Latina singer performing in Latin culture. The dancing is a main part of her shows and sells out massive concert. In the US most people only heard of her from her stint on THE VOICE.

I saw my mother watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet and the goats were in the stands. It was pretty comical. Cute dogs.

I thought Shakira was great, but JLo seemed to be posing for the cameras more than doing anything else.

Don't forget J-Lo just finished playing as stripper in the movie Hustlers.

Perhaps she was having flashbacks, once all the lights came on and the music started.

my wife see's her do her thing on the stripper pole and says how impressive it is. talks about how much strength it takes.

I respond saying I have seen performances that are way way more impressive on the pole..

it was an uncomfortable few minutes following. I am usually smarter than that.

personally, I don't like JLO. Never have. And I think she is trying WAY too hard. I did not enjoy her performance.

I liked Shakira very much. Mostly because of the dancing. I find her to be super impressive with how she moves so fluidly.

She is the whole package. Then J-Lo comes out and ruins it all. Shakira did not need a sidekick.

I believe in an interview she said she loved playing a stripper.

Not really a fan of either of their music but it fit the vibe of Miami perfectly and the production was outstanding. Just glad my kids were playing in the other room and didn't see it.

First, my Wife, who tolerates football, but who doesn't really care about it, said the following: "I am so excited to see Shakira and Jlo at the halftime"

Second, one of the few concerts I have been to, was Shakira, and those hips don't lie. Stage-side seating is CRUCIAL.... She doesn't "Lip-Sync" her concerts... maybe the halftime show, but I didn't notice what her lips were doing.

Third, Jlo. Meh...

Don’t sexualize women ...... meanwhile look at my labia hanging out. Thx for also bringing a stripper pole into every living room in the world. Hypocrisy lives.

At least it wasn’t Maroon 5, or worse, Pitbull!

They managed to pander to latins and S&M enthusiasts, both empower and denigrate women, and show children in cages; what’s not to love!
