Lisa, I do not know how you ladies can walk in those things. They look so uncomfortable and have to hurt your lower legs and feet!!!

I actually tried it once when I had a friend who had large enough shoes. The trick's in the bend of the knee when your heel touches the ground but damn, did I ever find out the meaning of "these heels are killing me!".

Well, I kind of gave them up when pregnant with my first. Just try navigating down a flight of stairs in heels when you can't see your feet!

I saw a pic recently of Gwen Stefani mincing around in some sky-high platforms, while holding baby Kingston.... someone give that baby a helmet and kneepads!

Only last week.My daughter who is six and has some learning difficulty's,

Had a spelling test at school, she very happily announced over dinner that she had got all her spellings correct at school today.

Knowing Kate as we do, Gill my wife said to her, You didn't cheat did you, Kate replied no,
But Martin did. He had his book open so he could see all the words and his paper on top of the page next to it. He is really naughty she said.

I then asked Kate where she was sitting for the test.

Kate's reply was. Next to Martin!!

I was on a conference call (statewide). The woman leading the call talks a lot and has a very... grating voice.

There was someone (a man) who was not on mute. When she started talking, he loudly said "BLAH BLAH BLAH". We're still not sure who it was

That is just too funny, because you described it perfectly. I never thought I'd hear an analysis of how to walk in heels from a guy, James!

p.s. - keep the heel under three inches and you're good for the day.
