I believe it was 43,600 Euro or in that ballpark. I remember it was about 6-7K higher than the DD40.

As someone that works with watches, the sight of more than one on the wrist at a time (especially the ones touching) make me feel slightly uneasy.

Great watches though!

I believe it would be hard to find it in the wild, although he mentioned it they had it for a while.

$25K for all gold 1 of 57. If a big Omega/Speedmaster fan, seems like a good value.

I kept waffling back and forth for a long time, the Patek and DD40 were both stunning. Very different watches but both had things I loved about them, it was basically a 50/50 for me, but the deciding factor was I had been thinking of getting a DD40 RG/Olive for the past year and happened to see it in the display case. Although the 5524R is just stunning in person.

As I asked to continue to see the other offerings, I happened to stroll by the Panerai case, and there was probably 20 to look at (wish I took more pictures). First the SA mentioned he had to show me the new gray faced submersible...thought it was really different, and it happened to be in Titanium, but I've also been interested in picking up a Panerai for the last couple years but my smaller wrists made me take pause. I always thought I would end up with a Radomir to suit my wrist (6.5in) until they came out with the Due (thinner case in 42mm).

I always loved the look of (brandrea's) PAM 932 but at 47mm, too big for me. Then I saw the smaller cousin the PAM 927. The yellow gold hands and sandwich dial at 42mm seemed like a no brainer. Because its so thin, I do wish it was SS over Titanium, because it feels a little too light.

I ended up with the DD40 / PAM 927!

Very well done Chris ... BIG congrats on both

FWIW mine is a 690

Not just time to be burned i think.

For me, i’d get the DD.

Curious about the YG Speedy. Is that some NOS version or a new release? I prefer the moonshine gold with the red bezel.

Left to right on your wrist: 3-1-2-4 is the order of interest, from my perspective

The SA didn't go into detail, but a bit of googling it appears that this particular watch (limited to 57 pieces stated on the dial of the watch) looks to be the same as others in a 2007 production. Looks like they got their hands on a NOS.

Had an extensive tool set to go with the package.
