Lol getting in on the mk version fun. Just minor variances in the batches to me.
Don’t think anything definitive on the bezels to me

Looks like you'd have to take the watch off and turn it over to tell the time, or am I missing something here...?!

I believe this is a uniquely Bas 2020 Preview Release.

It's just all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconvenience we have to deal with.

Yes all the 126710 blro ceramic inserts have the exact same number. Rolex does not give a rats a$$ about mk1,2,3,etc

Thanks Bas,
That's interesting.

Assuming, of course, that there IS a variance of hue in these bezels.
I was wondering, in say, 10-20 years time a client brings his 12670 BLRO in for repair 'cause they've damaged the bezel, and lost the ceramic insert. How would a watchmaker know which 'colour variation' was correct to that particular watch?

Just imagine, it's a Daytona/Pepsi. I think will be no less than 5 years.

There's definitely a difference in hue, there's no denying that.
But say you own an early blro with 'mk1' and for some reason you accidentally break it you will receive whatever batch they're making right now. And if that somehow affects the value, well too bad...

A GMT Chronograph, Rolex is copying Seiko.
Skeleton, Rolex is copying Zenith,
Crown on the left, Rolex thought about putting this watch on your right wrist.
This watch will change the world we know.

I think you're right Bas.
But, Geneva "not giving a rat's a$$" and it being, just "too bad", doesn't sound very 'Rolex'.
Maybe the 'mission statements' of the marketing department, and the servicing and repair departments needs to be looked at?
As for replacing a bezel, with a different shade of red or blue. Well, for me it wouldn't be about the affect on value, so much as having the bezel colour I bought. I wouldn't accept a silver wing mirror as replacement for my black one, because, "that's all they're making, right now"!
Or, god forbid, they sent you a Khaki replacement for your beautiful Olive watch face, 'cause "that's all we're making at the mo'"......yikes!!!!!
