The black (non GV) and the white dial milgauss were discontinued roughly around the time the AK was released, which is why I suggested Rolex might have had some spare Milgauss cases to find a use for. Plenty of people here were making the same observation when the AK was released, as well as pointing out the very obvious (at that time) use of Explorer WG indices.
