Your view is a 36 mm watch is a women's watch.

In turn, I would question why someone living in New York City feels the need to wear a commercial divers watch (DSSD).

Each to their own.

yes we know, you never miss an opportunity to share your wonderful erudite opinion with the rest of the members: "36mm is a woman's watch!!!!" and then you wonder why some people get upset with you? it doesn't take a rocket scientist eh? dudes don't like being told they're wearing a dudette's watch. a lot of guys here still wear 36mm watches, and the last time i checked, rolex (and many other watch manufacturers) still make and market them to men.

Well jeez, why didn't you tell me you need someone to wear it for you?

Of all those I've sold, it's the watch I miss the most:

x2 I have a GMT and a 34mm vintage watch and don't have any hangups wearing either unlike Mr Big. Strangely I don't get mistaken for a woman when I wear my smaller watch.

Maybe we can persuade the Rolex"giant" to put his stock comment in his signature line - that will save him a lot of time copying and pasting

Well maybe they think American women are becoming more butch. I've always been lead to believe by my intimate friends the size doesn't count.

Go Patriots--they wear 36mm I believe.

I have to admit to looking at other parts of the female anatomy rather than their wrists.

this shot of the wrist looks disproportionate. A big wrist with a small "appearing" watch.
Charlie Sheen wears a mid sized Yachty and it also looks disp...
A "41D" would make it all right !

. . Nothing looks more silly (or posturing) as a 40mm on a less than 7.5" wrist. One who has self-esteem, sizes a watch by their physical dimensions. For me at 5'-7" and 142-lb, a 36mm watch is perfect, and I would own nothing else, as it's looks silly to have a Coke can on a skinny wrist.

I guess when the watch business started, the purpose was to tell the time and a wristwatch was more convenient than a pocket watch. Now with everyone over 5 years old carrying a cell phone the time is irrelevant. They've become a fashion statement. Some guys like a thin plain wedding ring while some like a band that goes from knuckle to knuckle. IMO the 36mm is still a mans watch that looks good on some women. The dress watch isn't meant to be obtrusive. I would'nt like the feel of my cuff links banging around on a DSSD. Course the last time I wore cuff links was the senior prom so I guess I'm full of s***.

Perhaps Rolex shouldn't allow their ADs to sell any sport watches to anyone who needs a link removed.
