I find the only person that seems to have no issues really talking and answering questions there is ironically, an employee named Nick. Out of everyone I talk to, he has always been the best to work with. I like Kiefer Jewelers personally. They have no issues talking watches with you, being up front and at least try to help you get you what you are looking for, not the old, buy a few watches then lets talk.

For Tudor I like Ackerman Jewelers, great group of people there.

Also, they won't sell a used Rolex above retail, even SS models.

Mayors used to be a great place to shop back when it started in Citrus Park Mall. Nikki was the Manager and Cyrus was a great SA. I've dealt the Maria before at International Mall but not sure if she's still there. Last time I went there, the SA was terrible, didn't make me feel welcome.

Thats the issue, I feel like they don't even want you there. They seem to be in a rush to get you out and don't seem to want to even talk to you. Sad.

Another vote for Nick at Mayors Tampa. Great guy and have been very pleased for quite a few years. Nick knows me, so when a ltd. ed. OMEGA was available he called me. The OMEGA was not even on my radar, Nick delivers.

If you go a bit South, Mayors at UTC Mall in Sarasota is good (ask for Brad Smith).

As for service... as in sending a timepiece for service to a manufacturer, Mayors has been a joy to work with.

I used to shop there when Mayors was open at the time. Sucks they closed the store 5 years back. I’m still friends w Syrus, he has since moved on with new home sales for a large name company. I remember Nikki there as well.

Maria still works at International. Nick is a nice guy. It's pretty much impossible to buy from them if you haven't bought from them before.

As a follow-up to the planned Tamp GTG pre-CV, as i said earlier we are now on the second wave of CV so want to wait until the social distancing and mask wearing scenario has passed. For those curious, in yesterday's news:

"Florida sees biggest number of coronavirus cases in one day since outbreak began"

Unfortunately we might be waiting awhile! Since re opening the state we have had over one thousand new cases daily.. It is some scary stuff! Stay safe everyone!

Just FYI, Mayors at the UTC Mall in Sarasota has a 126334 DJ41 with the blue dial on a Jubilee bracelet in the store.

I looked at it this morning but had to run for lunch and now I am thinking about going back.....

;)
