Mine sits on the desk at work like that almost every day.... especially if I have short sleeved shirt on, I don't like dragging the band around on the desk and potentially scratching it.

True.

But a solid non-Rolex value thread.

I take it off and set it down at the home office too.

Sometimes.

I would never do it in my classroom though!

Haha

Comes with the territory of being both a James Bond fan and a watch geek

I've been doing that for a while with watches, especially when typing on a computer.

Here's my North Flag standing at attention:

I’m trying to be a one watch guy (one expensive watch) but deep inside I still want a Speedmaster

Thanks! I do tend to do this with every watch. The North Flag is one of the easiest and most natural watches to put into this upright position.

To be honest I’ve never heard his music, but yes he mentions guitars in his talking watches videos

He's had a few hit songs, but now he's arguably better known for dating famous women, including:

Katy Perry
Taylor Swift
Jennifer Aniston
Miley Cyrus
Minka Kelly
Cameron Diaz
Jessica Simpson
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Rhona Mitra
Vanessa Carlton

Initially, I wasn't going to list all of these women, but once I looked up the list, it was pretty impressive. Shout out to Mayer!

Oh man!

I didn’t know it was all of those. Dang, maybe we should all invest on the green dial Daytona.

Obviously this guy is doing SOMETHING right

Never liked his pop/radio songs — but wow, he sounds great with the Grateful Dead. I was hugely skeptical at first, but his solos are something else.

Underrated and excellent! Though I think it's gaining a community of appreciation these days.

And just to keep it watch focused -- I'm pretty sure it's the only one where he wears two different Rolex watches in the movie: a 5513 Submariner and a 6238 "pre-Daytona" chronograph.
