I like to think I'm pretty open-minded, but that AP is nothing I'd ever want on my wrist. The Blue SkyDweller, on the other hand, is stunning.

I think the size of your wrist should also play a factor here. I think the AP suits a bigger wrist, smaller wrist I would say Rolex.

That "particular" AP is almost as ugly as a H___t.

(AP does make some other nicer looking models.)

I would have the Rolex, it’s the one I prefer the look of, but it’s up to you which one you like the most..

SkyD over the ROO

Now if we're talking the new ROC vs the SkyD, it'd be close. I would probably lean AP.

AP chrono for sure. SD looks like a bloated datejust. Not a fan of it at all.

Love AP, but certainly not that one. The same model with an attractive dial maybe.

Sky Dweller all day, every day.
The design language of AP is something I have never understood or swallowed.
This model however is a bit better than the rest of their designs with looks so so cheep.
The Sky Dweller is one of those watches that we can describe as beautifully designed and is also one of those movements ingeniously conceived.

To me, Bottom.
This Rolex is the worst looking among all Rolex.
The fluted bezel and off-centre circle makes me uncomfortable.
AP just looks amazing!!

If I had to pick one, it would be the sky dweller.

If it was my money it would be neither.

Rolex Sky-D for me, it's absolutely striking in person. Also not a big fan of that particular AP ROO.

I have done quite a bit of research on buying an AP Offshore. I like the 44mm with the ceramic bezel...they are real large and sit high off the wrist...very prone to banging into things. I love the look on the rubber, but nervous about wearing everyday. I also as a matter of personal preference, do not like arabic numerals. Only on the Panerai...for some reason the AP and Patek numbers look "Mickey Mouse" Timex to me. I would go Rolex. I am looking at the Daytona 116519 currently.
