There are at least 37 different time zones. So it makes sense to have multiple GMT watches. :)

Are these limited only to watches with a fourth GMT hand?

Or are watches that can track two or more time zones included?

There is something very wroooooong with me! I do love GMTs. Glad I’m not alone. Everose is lovely. Have not tried that one yet.

The current mix is 16710 holes, 16750, 16710 no-holes, 126710, 116718, and the latest land-based GMT watch, the Exp II 42. I’ve been through a lot more of them, collecting and restoring.

I’ve never owned more than one reference at a time, but I’ve owned the 6 digit LN, BLNR and BLRO.

The BLRO is all I have now and to me it’s the most special.

Love the GMT complication. It’s honestly more useful to me than others. Currently have a BLNR and Explorer II, but I hope to add the new BLRO someday.

same here...

At one point I had a 5 digit Pepsi, Tudor GMT, a Seiko kinetic and a Christopher Ward GMT.

Thankfully I'm down to a 6 digit Pepsi and my CW GMT.

Some truly impressive collections here. I seem to be wearing my modern Pepsi most often (perhaps due to it being the most recent addition).

I have the Explorer II Polar, 116710BLNR, and a Tudor BB GMT.

I sold my 1675 GMT last year for several reasons, and that's probably the one that suffered for the lack of wrist time.

I am looking to get into a SkyD. Once travel gets back to normal I plan to rotate and use all of them.

I no longer have the 1675, 16750, or 16753 I owned, but I have several still in the stable: Zodiac for Hodinkee, BB GMT, and 16700.

GMT to me more versatile watch than say a Sub. On the 5 digits, the bezel could easily changed from LN, BLRO to coke. Snap on a jubilee bracelet and the watch changes its character and turn into a completely different watch. You can dive with it and it is as robust as any other Rolex sports watch.

I love GMTs. I have a 16700, 16710, 116710BLNR, 126710BLRO, and a Tudor GMT. My favorites are the Ceramic Pepsi and the 16700. The 16710 and the BLRO get the least wrist time but I still can't get rid of them.

I had 3 at one time. Sold a batman to my brother and kept these 2. Excuse the one in the middle ;)

My father was an international pilot and we traveled a lot with him. I used to sit behind him in the jump seat on a 747 during take off and landing. He past away a few yrs ago so the GMT's are more than a watch for me. Plus I do use the GMT function when I travel.

Those PM GMTs are awesome, plus the memories.

I have the Tudor BB GMT and just got the new BLRO yesterday. I love the Tudor, but I think it will see fat less wrist time now that I have the BLRO. Probably will be relegated to weekend duty.

Reasoning behind owning more than one gmt

What’s the reasoning behind owning more than one gmt? Isn’t it all the same watch? Do you get a different feeling from wearing a Batman vs Pepsi?
