I have the 15300, 15400, worn the 15202 quite over a weekend ,and owned the original 5402 RO. I also have a 5711R.

Personally since I got my 5711R and have been wearing it daily, I think I get why people prefer it over the 15202.

1. The case is just as thin and has a modern movement
2. The WR is higher, I feel ok wearing it swimming
3. The date change is easier on the 5711, which means I don't have to sit 10 minutes to cycle the date when I put down the watch for a few days.

But the RO bracelet definitely is more flashy and the octagonal design with screws is much more recognizable. I've had more people complement me on my ROs than on any Nautilus even if the whole watch is full gold.

I’d take a 5711R over a 15202st as well! Not sure I can get into either club at this point though. Lol.

Gotta go with 15202 as it’s the “first” and most beautiful bracelet.
Got to give credit to the 5711 for the dial color and more comfortable bracelet.

Close call for me. But Jumbo.
Just a slightly design advantage for me.

5711. Jumbo lacks quickset, screw down and second hand. PP has all of that. I do prefer the AP bracelet but not enough to outweigh the other things in this comparison.

AP bracelet wins hands down. The PP clasp infuriates me on the nautilus, it feels cheap and annoying. Except the 5740, which has the clasp all nautilus should.

Think people tend to focus on the bracelet, but additionally the artistry involved in the dial of the 15202 is what puts it over the top for me.

Great article and incredible videos! Really helps to convey the level of handcrafted detail given to each piece that leaves the factory.

The AP is the more important and attractive piece to me to pursue with interest.

AP appears to have embraced the RO and made it a big part of their identity.

I don’t know what PP think of the Nautilus, but it doesn’t seem to be special to them.

The AP RO 15202 Rose Gold is the most beautiful watch I have ever seen, it is really stunning.

I have also tried on a PP 5711R, but the AP 15202OR is a way more attractive watch, IMO.

wasn't the Nautilus designed to be a women's watch?

Both stunning, but in realistic terms I would pick the 15202 since it is much easier obtainable and less than half the price of the 5711 (resell).
