Are micro-scratches inevitable? (118238)

I got a mint 118238 this past Monday, and have worn it every day since then and plan to wear it indefinitely. I've noticed some micro-scratches come about on the polished part of the links. I have done everything I can to keep it free of scratches, I'm still noticing some micro scratches on those center polished links? I'm incredibly OCD about keeping this thing minty mint and I'm the same way with my boutique guitars. Should I just get used to those scratches since I know I shouldn't be polishing this thing often?
