Are you shaking a rattler in your other hand just outside the shot ?
I never heard a watch make that sound

Put the watch to your ear while on your wrist, flip it back and forth say 90deg (12 o'clock to six o'clock angle)......hear anything?
This grinding noise you can hear from across a room. I stop wearing it, it's a paper weight now bc I don't want it to get worse until I get it looked at. Due to covid RSC is shut down. Horrible issue to have for a $30k watch .

Nope , i recently (not even two weeks) got it barely wore it bc the noise kept getting louder and louder, by now you can hear it across a room. I stopped wearing and it's a paper weight. Sad 😥.

I would have it back to the AD for a full refund!
Look for another one.

The AD has agreed to take it back and send it to RSC in Texas because is one of the only service centers back in business due to Covid. We have agreed that if after it gets looked at and properly serviced and certified by Rolex that if it still doesn't work properly they will fully refund me. Keep fingers crossed everything will work out. quite honestly I miss the watch already since it was shipped out today. I'll update this post when i get the watch back.

Sounds like a satisfactory arrangement, hope it all works out for you.

Hope everything turns out well. Shame you're going through this hassle over a $30k+ watch. I've seen quite a few complaints from early Skydwellers with issues. Keep us updated, it's still my favorite watch

I finally got the watch back from the AD and with it a letter from Rolex. unfortunately the only thing that the letter says is that they Checked Movement (the original warranty card was for 5 years; which it beat it by a week or so). I wanted to find out more about the work/repairs so I called them at the Texas office. They basically said that they do not detail their work to the outside world, only if expensive parts were replaced. Not much help! The customer service person did say that the movement in most cases is taken apart and oiled to regulate the time keeping of the movement. I can only guess that the bearing or gear of the rotor were replaced or fixed. At any rate the watch is super quiet now and keeping great time. Overall I am happy, everyone did their part and things are working perfectly (about 5 weeks to get it back). Rolex did say that the watch had never been serviced before neither any issues were ever reported. I guess that is good to know.

I wouldn’t say mine is quiet but I would definitely not call it noisy. Never noticed a thing until I stumbled upon this thread. Kinda moved mine around and I could hear the rotor moving.

Kinda reminded me of a Tudor Tiger Chrono I used to own. The Valjoux wobble.

I think you can hear it bc they are using newceramic bearing balls for the rotors.

Man. That doesn’t sound right at all. I tried on a 2 tone about a couple weeks ago and it was really quiet. I would have an expert at RSC take a look at it. I’m pretty sure there are some normal noises. But that sounds horrible.
