Steel sports models rare?

There’s 90+ GMT Pepsi/Rootbeers listed in Singapore online sales. If you added on the Batman and Daytona’s, can likely doubly that count.

I have to agree. They have have a entire wing dedicated to Rolex. My friend is manger there.

Across the street is the “Rolex” building. It’s going to close for a total renovation. However, Rolex will still be in that vicinity.

The Dubai Mall is a flagship store I don’t know if it’s the biggest but it must be close. I got a GMT BLNR about a year ago after waiting obviously and when I went there they gave me the full tour which includes a museum in the back which you wouldn’t know was there dedicated to the subs and deep sea and also a mini cinema. It was very special and the people were very well trained on the watches and had been working with the local AD for many years. They also had the entire catalogue set up but with the real watches rather than photos. Not for sale obviously....

I think that is the biggest store, there was a documentary about it as well. Here's a link,

https://gulfbusiness.com/worlds-larg...retail%20space.

Apparently the owners are very influential in watch/jewellery business. Even CEO of Rolex/PP attend their events.

The decision to build the biggest Rolex store shows one fact that is certain.
That is, the owner of the AD has enormously deep pockets to afford the build out.
There are very few markets in the world to sustain the volume as here.
On another note, a 3 story Rolex store is being built in Boston with Los Angeles/Beverly Hills to follow.

That’s probably because the owners are part of the Royal family.

When I was there in November they pretty much everything to display, I didn't even bother asking about availability. What is impressive is the amount of PM and gem set watches. Pretty much have everything you can imagine. We had to be escorted to the second floor, needed elevator fob and all that. It was amazing, didn't want to leave.

Did you not see that I said "by volume" as in most watches in and out?

I've heard it's Seddiqi & Sons, Dubai.

The Seddiqi Rolex store in the Dubai Mall is amazing. The family also is the distributor and AD of many other fine brands.

My experience is that their long term customers get first pick of the desirable watches, although I did secure a Pepsi with meteorite dial from them several months ago, before they closed with Covid. Not sure if they are open yet.
