I never got putting endlinks for straps... Everest should have polished some part of it at least for the daytona. Hard pass for me OP. Bracelet, rally strap, or rubber imho.

Don’t love this combo. Seems like a watch you dress down on rubber or dress up on leather. So the color of the leather doesn’t work for me as it’s more casual.

I'm a bigger fan of the fitted straps that don't have a separate endlink -- I find metal endlinks on a leather strap really weird-lookin'.

A fitted leather strap with no separate endlink, in black and not brown, would I think be a great look for that Daytona.

(I do think the brown would look great with a non-ceramic white-dial Daytona, though. It's mostly the brown and black that don't work together for me.)

Strap has grown on me even more especially being out an about with it all day.

Now that the bracelet 'bling' is toned down - the beauty of the watch face comes out even more for me. Feels super comfortable and looks classy AF!!

And here's shes out with the fake ferrari

Glad you like it, cause thats all that really matters! But for me that is just an injustice to that beautiful Daytona

I understand the allure of leather straps. I just think that the end link implementation by Everest leaves a lot to be desired. The shape is wrong as they don't really enhance the flow of the design. I've got a strap in black with the same end link design which I'll likely use at some point on my two tone Daytona although I'm pretty certain it won't stay on for long. Truthfully there is little that can improve on the Rolex bracelet look so it's almost a loss even trying. I recently added a strap to my YM which although comfortable and preservative of the bracelet really just doesn't look near as good. Folks were kind in not pointing out the deficiency. Ultimately if you like it then that is all that really matters.

Everest Band on WD 116500 Daytona!!

Just for the sake of discussion, here's one of my Daytonas on a similar but black strap. Actually I like it far more than I expected to.

Enjoy it if you must, but personally, not for me.

Hell yea OP! Do whatever you like/please to your watches... hell don’t most people say the “wealthy” are quirky anyway lol! I’m all about different straps and making it “unique”.. honestly I see a SS Daytona and kinda go eh cause they probably bought it for the hype...
