Aside from my gshock which is the true beater all my ss watches are semis I guess. I’m only particularly careful with gold watches.

A more mature crowd than most forums, letting that title pass by without comment.

Do you have a ”semi beater”?

Beater... (cost $50 USD)

A watch that can join me on activities there I normaly would leave the other watches at home, but still not G-schock activities.

Do you see the point in this or is it a bad idea?
The only beater I know is in picture below but not a semi beater as I use it almost daily as a full time beater.

You need to upgrade. That vintage beater doesn't have the refinements and modern automatic movement you get with the new beaters. These are hard to get with long lists at the AD but I think I can find you a good deal at a grey for only 20% over MSRP!

My “beater” is my 16610. It’s what it was designed for.

I added this one last year thinking it would be a daily wearer I could wear at those times when I dont want to think about what's on my wrist....

Problem is I enjoy wearing it all the time now, that I'm having to re-think why I have all these expensive watches Name: 20200102_133813.jpg

I've never thought of it that way but since I've bought my SMP it's become my travel watch and a perfect everyday piece. I'm liking it more than my Rolex Subs lately.

You are very fortunate. Its a beautiful watch and perhaps very underrated especially amongst the rolex crowd. It has also risen quite a bit in value compared to how much they cost back in the 90s and around the turn of the century.

I used to use my Sea Dweller for this, but I now also use my gold Daytona and BLRO for it. Ultimately, they will all get dinged and scratched over the years, so might as well just get on with it! And for anything really bad, they’re all insured.

I tend to not treat my AP’s or Patek so badly!

I have it as part of my home insurance. Covers theft and accidental damage, inside or outside the home.

PAM 111 for weekend banging around.

True beater is a 20 year old Timex Ironman
