Good looking and practical GADA watch. Not getting the feeling I have to have it.

Not really, unless you have super large wrists!

Here are the new Tudor models...

I find all this criticism ironic since I always thought Tudor watches were over rated on TRF. I never really liked them.

This is the first Tudor watch I like a lot. Love the blue color. I might get this.

I think Tudor watches are great and getting better every year. So people here voice their dislike of the rivets. They are a design element and a very cool retro design. My guess, they will sell a bunch.

The more I look at it the more I think that I would have preferred it gilt accents, maybe with creamy markers; they would have matched much better with the (fake) rivets IMHO.

people also used to hate PCLs. now you hear nothing when every new model has them. Where did all the haters go?

Despite the snowflake hand which I'm not a huge fan of, I'm strongly considerring this piece as my first Tudor. Looks cool.

Some disliked the snow flakes hands, rivet bracelets, the hue, diameter too small.... There will never be a design that will be loved by everyone. IMHO, it retained the vintage design with more daring approach in terms of colour.

In-house movement, an alternative color to "the ever-present everyday black watch", a decent price, and a popular 39mm size.

Nice!

I honestly never notice the rivets when wearing my BB58.

The blue BB58 looks nice on a strap as well.

these comments are from people who have never owned a rivet style modern tudor. they claim it is terrible. they want a standard bracelet. i am glad tudor has a bit of distinction in their steel bracelets. not the standard. im good with rivet or no rivet.

tudor has the pelagos with a non rivet. but then the complaint is the watch is too light in weight.

there will always be a complaint which is just fine by me. everyone has an opinion and that is what makes us all different.

there are people who see tudor as junk. i mean we get a thread a week on a movement issue with the GMT but when the all mighty 3235 has issues people dont start abandoning their buying strategy on those models. i agree i would never want to buy a watch with a known movement issue but the standard is much different from many posters when it comes to tudor vs rolex. these posters dont value tudor as a brand. it is a shame but again we are all different. i see tudor as what rolex cannot be and perhaps that is why i appreciate them.

I agree with most of the negatives posted by others. I don’t like the snowflake hands, fake rivets, and not flush crown. It’s a handsome watch non the less. The size is fine.

Stick with 44 and 48 mm Breitling and Panerai then?
You just have to look at why Rolex brought out the Datejust 41 as the market was dropping on smaller watches in the men’s range.
The same way omega increased the size of the current seamaster 300

I think it pretty poor from Tudor to make a 39mm (dive watch) - it’s just too small in my opinion and would be better at 42mm.

I love the colour mind you and if a bit bigger would acquire one.

That said, it looks like a really nice and fitting shade of blue.

I get your point completely.

However, the DJ41 is not 41mm. It is actually closer to 39mm. This was discussed on here quite a bit when it first came out. No idea why it is like this.

I think the bracelet on my BB Steel is fantastic, and if I'm in the minority on that, I really don't care. It's well engineered, has ample adjustments, and is comfortable to wear. It's certainly beefier than the bracelet on my 14270 Explorer, but that's an Apples to Oranges comparison.

I really wish Tudor would make the Black Bay 41 with a White Dial. I'd be all over that like flies on poop!

I like it. But I already have a BB58 and a BB Blue ETA. I’m guessing it will come down to trade in value on the ETA as to whether this new one joins the stable.

It's a style motif. Fake rivets are to bracelets what faux-tina is to dials.

I like the watch. Wish the gilt dial had carried over. The dimensions of the BB58 line are absolutely fantastic.

I like that it doesn't have the gilt dial. I don't mind the rivet bracelet.

This will fly off the shelves!
