No, OP.

Off topic slightly, is the hype due to the size? I realise there are other design differences. But to my eye it looks a lot like a blue Pelagos?

I do think if I ever pick up another Tudor I'd go for the blue Pelagos though.

Exact thing i said as well. I’m still leaning towards grabbing the blue down the line. This is essentially exactly what i hoped for. Their bracelets are not good. But, given the price, they are not horrendous. I think they clasp needs to be reworked, that’s the worst part IMO.

Not selling anything but def adding one, it's a fun watch and perfect for travel/low key anything...which this year seems to be a pretty solid fit haha.

In a word. No.
IF anything, if I had a BB58, I'd sell that to fund a Submariner.
Sorry, maybe it's just me, but I don't get the hype over the BB58.
For that money, if I were in the market for a 39mm diver, I personally would prefer the Seiko SLA017!

I don’t think I’d sell one of my watches to acquire this piece. I think I’d rather keep my watch and acquire this too

If you can get one. I have a friend that wants a black dial and there is a waiting list!

Thank you! Took many watches until I got to the perfect two for me. On a waitlist for the Daytona ceramic with white dial as well, think that will just about do it!

41mm is not large by any definition. 43mm Sd43 or Deep-sea at 44mm can be termed large. Sub is 40 and Black Bay is 41 and now 39. Not sure if your point makes sense. Actually 39mm is small for diver, it's better suited to dress watch like OP39.

If you are buying rolexes you shouldn’t be in a financial position where you need to see it to buy a bb58 which in context is quite cheap.

Secondly, this hype is a bit silly.

I think you should read the comment I was replying to for context.

The Rolex salesman I deal with said it won’t be very hard to get... just take a look at the GMT, you can find them very easily. Only people who want it now, buy them at ridiculous prices...
