Released in Japan but not in the US yet from what I understand. My AD said I’m getting the first sbge257 delivery.

Btw was deciding between the green and blue dial, but I have a Batman and also a seiko blue alpinist. Plus the green was a bit more subtle, whereas the blue dial was a bit too screaming to me. Can’t wait to get my watch

and it DOES wear thinner than the numbers suggest

I wish these were Titanium. Those measurements in titanium would be my perfect watch. I would buy all three.

That doesn't look too bad at all. Having had a Seadweller 16600 for a few years and wearing a GO pano as a dress watch, I'm OK with something that's relatively thick for its dial size. The spring drive GMT isn't a super-compact movement.

I really liked the SBGE245 a while ago, the limited or special edition spring dial GMT with red / burgundy dial, but at 44mm I couldn't convince myself (even though lug to lug it wasn't as big as the 44mm might imply). If they are going to make a habit of making more compact sporty GMTs, I'm all ears, especially if an interesting dial comes along.

Looking at the Monochrome hands-on link above though, I kind of agree with one of the comments on that site:

"what is the point of a fixed, non movable bezel in a gmt watch? there are already gmt hour markings inside the dial, so the function is kind of redundant." This is true - if I'm getting a numbered bezel I would like to be able to move it - either as an extra time zone, or as simple timing function pretending it's a dive watch. You can do that with the 44mm watch I mentioned above, but not it seems with these new ones. So if I can't move the bezel I would be tempted to say just use the space to give me a bigger or clearer dial.

The GS GMT models have really caught my attention, particularly the SBGE253 and the older SBGE201.

While doing some research into the GMT models I came across a reviewer on YT that mentioned the hour hands on the SBGE201 do not align in the dead center on the hour marker when the minute hand reaches the top of the hour. Instead the hour hand is at the center of the marker closer to four or five minutes from the top of the hour (at the 55 or 56 minute mark).

As I understand it, the new GMT models use the same 9R66 Spring Drive movement, so I'm curious if this off-centered hour hand issue is present on these models as well? Or perhaps the review simply got a hold of a defective review model, although I believe in the review he mentioned it was evident across a number of the watches?

Not sure if posting the video is appropriate in the event this really is a non-issue, but wanted to get some feedback from anyone who ones any of the GS GMT Spring Drive models.
