Nice pickup. This watch does wear larger than even the Submariner in my opinion. Was offered one, tried it on and passed due to my small wrists. Just picked up a Sub 114060 and it fits me better.

Something to do with the large time only dial, small bezel, and long lugs on the expl 1 39mm, gives it a larger appearance.
