DD, no contest. It is the ultimate Rolex.
And I'm not a fan of any of the Rolexes on OF. I think Rolexes look better on the bracelets.

People here sometimes say they don't like the ceramic bezels? I love ceramic bezels but I would prefer a DD in this case. Rose gold, olive dial too...

If it's me, I go DD. The WG is subtle and the green is MAGIC in person.

DayDate for sure. Not a fan of the Daytona here. To me, it's a useless complication.

I agree with most, for the price I'd prefer to have the PM bracelet as part of the deal. So my choice is definitely the Day-Date. I really can't fathom how a Rolex Daytona on a rubber strap is as valuable as a DD40. It's a no brainer for me. Plus that DD40 is just plain gorgeous!

DD for me. Daytona is very hard to read and having date does help.

I wouldn’t mind with either one ,both are great looking watches .RG is the way to go since you already own a few SS . Good luck

Another vote for the DD. For a sports watch on rubber, I'd go AP.

Dd all the way. If you then feel the need for rose gold on rubber, Breitling is the way to go. An arguably finer movement and you’ll save a bunch of $$

To me there is no question but that for the same money on Rolex I am getting the all gold model with full gold bracelet over the watch with a rubber band.

I think there’s a heavy US bias on the DD. But candidly if for Asia I’d go OF Daytona. Good for the weather, also better cache IMHO for the regional

I think people in Hong Kong or mainland China worship the DD even more :-) especially the YG DD with diamond dials. YG + diamond = the wearer's business will have both great income and profits.
