She knew I was interested in getting a black Daytona because I'd already picked up the 116509 and at first thought it was a little crazy but when I showed her that these were very hard to get, money in the bank as investments and that I'd probably never be offered one by an AD she basically gave me the "OK" to buy one if it came available. She's the best! We are married since 1993. Get along fantastically well which is good because we just became empty nesters. She's very tolerant of my excesses and encourages me to spoil myself without asking for herself. She just wants me to give some of my "old inventory" Rolexes to my sons when I get a new one so I'm happy to do that.

Sounds perfect, well done to both of you. It seems you have a great relationship and that is harder to find than a SS Daytona at retail !
