I had that TAG in all steel in the 90s. I credit it with being the one that started it all (meaning my love of watches). The fact that it's from your Dad makes it 100%!!!!!!

I've only one real "Wow" watch and most already know what it is.

And I'm still wowed by it… While many of the examples here are interesting and certainly beautiful in their own right, I find them hard to actually tell time at a glance and not necessarily something I would actually wear. I prefer a more classic case I suppose, function over aesthetics if that is even a reasonable argument. On the other hand, perhaps my "taste" is dated and old fashioned. Cheers to subjective aesthetics gentlemen!

I too am a fan of classic functionality. The 50th Anniversary will boldly walk where most of the other examples (so far) fear to tread. Thanks for your endorsement of this beauty!!!

The depth of the movement is something best appreciated in person. May add that to my collection one day, amazing piece really.

Completely agree - the movement is really special! Another pic from the web to show the depth of the movement.

Just got it today but already jumped to the #1 spot in my collection. Pictures don't even come close to capturing how awesome it is in person.
