IMO the AP is not a better watch than the SD- just a different model for a different market. The early 15300's are notorious for being troublesome and there have been reports that the clasp on the AP is uncomfortable.
But all that matters is the guy is happy & it sounds like he is! Enjoy in the best of health.

Congrats on the AP. i am selling off o few watches in lust of a lange!!!
