As a matter of fact, I don't see it happening anytime soon. Rolex has their Daytona line positioned just where they want it-and it looks to me like they're gonna sit tight for the foreseeable future, IMO.

Just my two cents, I'll happily eat my words if wrong.

I am sitting tight for when they make it 41mm and this sub melts down. .

Well, there is one PM Daytona on full bracelet with a ceramic bezel ... but not WG - I understand the pent up demand...

This is a beautiful watch with the ceramic bezel, but someone posted a picture of a watch with this dial and either a SS or WG bezel not long ago and I thought that that looked great too.

Until they see sales of the current Gold Daytona’s start to dip there not introducing anything new.

I keep it very clean too.
Great story that makes the sentimental value priceless.

This? It’s the full WG with Steel dial:

Still No Daytona Precious Metal on Bracelet...

I have only two watches with SS bezels and they’re pretty scratched up, but even then, it’s part of the character and story of the watch.

I just don’t think scratch-resistantness is the argument for a ceramic bezel, because a ceramic bezel completely changes the look of the watch. It makes it look more sporty/less classy and changes the entire intent. You’ll still scratch up the bracelet and case anyway.

I think it’s more a design preference.
