Coke Addict
Not that coke, I'm talking about the soda.
With my healthy regime now in place I have to cut out the fizzy drinks and replace with green tea or water. After cycling to work (3 miles) yesterday I realised how unfit I was and also that simple cycling is not enough to get me feeling healthier again. I've therefore put together a diet plan supplemented by vitamins. That means giving up my beloved ice cold coke and other soda drinks. Expect at least bad moods and sulks for a minimum of two weeks as I go cold turkey on my sugar addictions. To help shift my soft drink dependancy, I did a little research... In many states in the USA the highway patrol carries two gallons of "well known soft drink brand" in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of "well known soft drink brand" and it will be gone in two days (meat will completely dissolve). To clean a toilet: Pour a can of "well known soft drink brand" into the toilet bowl and let it sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in "well known soft drink brand" removes stains from vitreous china. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminium foil dipped in "well known soft drink brand". To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of "well known soft drink brand" over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in "well known soft drink brand" to the rusted bolt for several minutes. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of "well known soft drink brand"into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The "well known soft drink brand" will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield. The active ingredient in "well known soft drink brand" is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis. To carry "well known soft drink brand" syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous Material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials. The distributors of "well known soft drink brand" have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years! Worrying? J |
