I picked my Hulk up this week as well, the last my AD said they would get..I have never seen one in person, just in photos and I am thrilled with it.

Every time I look at the dial it is a different color, from dark green,to light green and then all black depending on the light.

It is like you are getting the Hulk and the new Cermit all in one watch, very cool.

Congrats! I much prefer the Hulk to the new Kermit. Nobody does a sunburst dial like Rolex does!

I’m lucky enough to have been given both pieces very recently too! Real blessing & a lovely AD. I have to say I’m still massively in love with the hulk, but the cermit is slowly growing on me. Nice problem to have I guess!

Congrats on your arrival! Personally, I always wished the Hulk had a glossy dial, as I don't like the contrast of the sunray dial + glossy bezel insert, so I like the new Cermit more. But you scored a nice one there!

It’s all internet hype, I’m glad you like your watch. But it’s still was a mass produced watch. I’d take a 5 digit Kermit any day regardless of the price or hype. Just my opinion. 3-4 yrs ago no one cared about the hulk, it’s all internet hype.

Dude perfect and congrats! Lucky for you that AD dosen’t have a Gray Dealer on speed dial. Proves there are still some good AD’s!

lol at the haters. Internet hype? Maybe. But what was before that? Just hype? Internet isn’t going anywhere, so...

Enjoy your Hulk!

I’ll have the new green sub sometime before the new year is what we are expecting as of now so when I own both I can report back an update ! But, overall, I think you’re right - hulk>newkermit

Not sure why people are raining on OP's parade. I also passed on the Hulk many times before the hype started but not sure what that has to do with this thread. I don't think there's anyone here that would turn down one of the last Hulks from an AD.

OP congrats and that is definitely going to be your lucky charm! Enjoy in good health!

Congrats on getting a watch you love! Personally, I’d rank Kermit > Cermit > Hulk.

Enjoy! That dial is fantastic. Only reason I parted with mine was to go full YG Sub. I like the Hulk much better than the new Cermit.

Why are some people being negative? The OP likes the watch and scored it for retail.

Beautiful, congratulations!

I got the last Hulk my AD got about a month ago. I really didn't think I wanted one, it's too much green for me. Or so I thought at first. I wore it around the store while looking at other Rolex and shooting the breeze with my AD, who is a very good friend of mine. About 30 minutes after wearing it I happened to look down and realized I had to have it. It sang to me like no other watch has. I can't give a logical answer for it, it is purely emotional for me. There is something festive about it. While the black Sub is looking for some deep water, the Hulk is looking for the party.

As far as Hulk>Kermit, I am going to be forced to get a Kermit so I can know for sure.

It’s arguable the new one has a better and more usable movement and some may indeed prefer the contour changes.

That green dial is pretty enticing but wasn’t always. It remained unsold for years.

Congrats
Ironically that is one of the things that factors into collectability for things. Especially Rolex.

I remember not many years ago my AD had a Hulk in the window display and one in the case. I thought to myself at the time, who would buy that thing?

The only reason I passed on the hulk previously was because I was just starting my collection and needed basic non colored watches first.

Well since you asked for thoughts.....

History says for most of its life this was a not desirable whatsoever and sat in cases. It only recently in the past years become ‘cool’. I think we could most certainly see a 180 back to that as in all honesty....it’s a completely green watch.

With that being said though, congrats on the incoming and who cares if you enjoy it!
