Congratulations- glad you got what you wanted. It’s funny how everyone’s tastes differ so much though, for me I would want smooth bezel with jubilee. It would be a boring world if we all liked exactly the same things though!

Nice combo

In my opinion a DJ must have a jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel. A DJ that does not have a jubilee bracelet and a fluted bezel is simply a Oyster Perpetual Date

I went looking for a DJ with a fluted bezel a couple of years ago and the local AD had only a couple of DJ with the smooth bezels. He offered me a nice price but I passed on them because it is not a DJ to me without a fluted bezel

Surprised they had a Cermit no less let you try it on.

I’d like a fluted DJ41 with rhodium dial, sticks, and on Jubilee one day.

I recently upgraded - bought the fluted version. After swapping the bracelets (the new one came on Oyster), I am very happy!

Also picked up a ladies DJ in SS with diamond markers for my wife (279174) which she is very happy with.

Now I have the two DJs, the smooth looks amazing on Oyster, and the fluted looks great on Jubilee (my pick), these two are definitely the best combination to me. One sporty and one dressy. I could never deal with PCLs though.

Someone is going to get a good deal getting a slightly used DJ with an unworn bracelet!

Lesson for me - take your time and make sure it is right.

Tried on a sub too.... would like a sports watch in the near future.
