Grail

I am done with watches, I have too many now. My grail situation would be to get rid of most of the watches that I have now.

What is your one realistic grail?

I was lucky enough to have just purchased mine at retail.... but I’m really grateful for everything/anything I’m able to buy.

Rather content now. I have one example of each segment I like (DJ, Explorer, Submariner, GMT and Yachtmaster). And I stick to 5-digits.
Perhaps a TT Yachtmaster.

This is it and I've already got it. The question is, what do you do once you've acquired your grail? For me it's buy some others that you really like. Have a collection that you don't want to change.

126711 CHNR, but I got it this year. Looking for the next one. I would love a ceramic white Daytona someday.

I started with a Submariner and have gone full circle several times. In the end it will be a Submariner.

Currently the grail I'm chasing is the BLRO at MSRP.

116610LV.

Sure I want other watches. I'd love a Smurf, a WG GMT or maybe a DD. If a RG Sky Dweller fell out of the sky I wouldn't complain. But the Hulk was my grail. It still is. Or is it? I own one now so maybe that doesn't make it a grail piece any more? Not entirely sure how it works with grails. If obtaining your grail cancels its grail status, I no longer have a grail.

Datejust 16200 around year 1999–A SERIAL!
The 16233 two-tone would be too expensive for me.

Platona - Got to try it on the other day. It's nice! I told my AD it will be purchased once I am done with college tuitions. 1 done this year and the 2nd done in 3. After that this will look like a bargain!

Any PM piece. I plan on getting a DJ41 in 2021/22 but I can see myself getting a DD40 in my 40s

Patek 5396G-011

I've wanted a Day-Date 40 but I think I could be completely happy with a Submariner and a Patek.

Would love to have the new Cermit. After that, maybe a Syk-dweller?
