I think he’ll get the DJ41. I was wearing it when I proposed to my wife, when we got married, when I found out we’re pregnant, when I found out it’s a boy, and it’ll be on when he’s born!

Congrats buddy!

I’m a bit old, too, at 37. But at least we have some life experience and comfort with ourselves!

I don’t know about you but I’m comforted by the amazing woman who is by my side!

Huge congrats to both of you Gentlemen. Having children is the best gift out there; even better than getting a new watch.

Congratulations Slimpee and gnuyork! No need to be scared, just get in all of your sleep now. That was the roughest part of the first year for my wife and me, you just don't get enough sleep. Overall this will change your life for the better

Congratulations I’ve got 3 boys and it is without doubt thee best thing that will ever happen to you, how your outlook changes and the respect you gain for your parents knowing what they did for you When you were a baby is a great feeling enjoy every minute

Congratulations... may everything go smoothly. It's a heck of a ride. Let me say from experience, if there are challenges with the pregnancy ( God willing there won't be ) hang in there, it's worth the journey.

Son: Dad, why is my sister Porche named after a car company?
Dad: Because son, your mother really likes Porches and thought that it would be a great name. I told her that if we have a girl that she could name her whatever she wanted.
Son: Did you get to choose my name?
Dad: Yes of course.
Son: Thanks for clarifying, dad.
Dad: No problem, Pepsi GMT.

Congratulations!!

Just remember to be a parent for the first 18-21 years. Discipline creates a child that's fun to be around. Give instructions and if not followed administer the consequences promptly without negotiation. They don't have to love you when in their teens but they should respect you. You will be their friend afterward and they will love you deeply.

It's worth it! Enjoy the ride!

I'm digging up this old thread because I just found out that my wife and I are expecting a baby girl in July!

This will be our second. The first, a boy, will be three in April and is quite the little toddler. We were also pregnant earlier this year but unfortunately lost it, but things are looking good this time.

I'm excited and can't tell anyone until Christmas but needed to tell someone...so here I am!
