I’m no expert but I believe the only the cream dials have the gold hour marker rings (1980s). The dials that come with black markers will not turn cream (newer models with different dial paint). I have only heard this from someone and I’m not positive on this info.

Oh hey there! Truly stunning reference. I can’t get my eyes off the dial. It’s truly something special. I doubt it could be replicated. It’s a subtle sandy color but has depth to it depending on the lighting. Enjoy yours for many years to come!
