With that dial, I would learn to love the wearability. It’s too beautiful of a dial

I agree with you guys. Have had mine since 2015 and I have no doubt worn it more than my other Rolexes put together.

The DSSD JC is beautiful. Unfortunately it's little big for me (6.75 inch flat wrist) otherwise I would love to have one. I agree it's more about the 17.7mm thickness that make the watch less wearable to many.

Deep Sea is a great piece if you have wrists that can support it.....

I have a 6.5" wrist and it becomes my daily driver and I rarely use my blnr and submariner. The thing is that if your such a fan you can wear whatever you want and it will look good on you because you really like it...

Yours looks great on you. I also have a 6.5" wrist and the first version of this watch with the black face and never felt like it was too much. I love the wrist presence and have probably gotten more compliments / questions than any other watch I've owned. Folks genuinely seem to get into the technical aspect, how deep it can go, why it was made, etc., and can sense my enthusiasm in sharing lol.

It's not a small watch, but the worst thing is the thickness. It doesn't make sense to me. Rolex already has the Submariner and the Sea Dweller

The DSSD is what it is (a sea monster) but made by Rolex, so it is incredible that being able to tolerate 3,900m of depth is still beautiful and slim enough to be worn daily, but is made only for lovers of the SeaDweller history, is a professional tool that will survive the apocalypse.

I think people look into this “how big is your wrist, it’s too thick” etc waaaaaay too much. Buy the watch because you like it. Regardless of wrist size and if you can ‘pull it off’, if you enjoy it then go for it. I pick mine up this week. Honestly couldn’t care less what anyone else on this planet thinks of it or me wearing it love the dial and look. Case closed

I own and enjoy several Submariners and the DSSD JC. I have a 7.5-7.75 inch wrist depending on the weather and can wear any of them with no issue. It is what you like and what is adjusted to be worn comfortably. When I transition from a larger watch to a smaller watch or the other way around it takes a little bit to adjust. But after a little wear it is great and I repeat when it is done again. I have a 30 plus watch collection right now so there is a place for all sizes. I have learned to appreciate my watches for what they are, not what they are not.

Ok, interesting. My 116660 fits and wears so well, I often wondered why they superseded it with the 216660 however people seemed to think the new one fit even better?!

People(on this forum) complained that the bracelet was a tad too narrow.
It appears that Rolex may be taking note and making changes accordingly.
Just like the Sub C .

Thank you. It seems there are quite a few on this thread alone with a 6.5-6.75" wrist so I think it should fit me well.

That's my wrist size as well and I love this piece. Takes half a day to get back into it but then it feels completely normal.

I believe I'd find it large as I find the Sub large. With a 6.5in wrist it really isn't as much about the diameter but the lug to lug length. FWIW, Invicta lists 44mm as a woman's watch.

Saw them (regular and JC versions) once at my local AD, didn’t even dare to try them as were massive!

I had a DSSD and agree. I traded it for a SD43; there is a huge difference how it wears, in my opinion.
