I'm on the waitlist for the 15450, but with the constant price increase I keep thinking maybe I should've opted for a 25860 instead.
Also I wonder if AP will come out with a new mid-sized model soon (15550?). At 38mm, it would be the perfect stop-gap between their 34mm (77350) and 41mm (15500) model. The 5800 movement in the 77350 is better than the aging 3120 in the 15450 too (sans power reserve), even though it's smaller. |

Which one did you go with? I’m in the same situation and I thought the 34 looked great on you (way better than the 38), but worried about the small dial in person.

You might consider looking for a 14790, last made circa 2005. At 36 mm, I like it quite well on my 16 cm wrist. It's also historically significant as it was still built into a monoblock case, as was the original Jumbo's design. The monoblock case was discontinued in favor of a conventional three piece case (body, back and bezel). Tim Mosso contends that the monoblock case was dropped as a cost cutting measure. As such, it is thinner than the 15450 and even the 15550, equivalent to the height of the original Jumbo. Of course, the case-back is not exhibition. I bought a "F" series version, likely made within the last two years of production. ~20 years old, the JLC derived movement keeps time well within COSC spec.
