Been wearing a daily for a few months. Don't know when I'm going to slap any of my other timepieces on my wrist. 🤍🤍

Who Wears a SS Daytona as their Daily?
Quote:
I got offered both and picked the black because the white didn’t mesh with my skin tone. Both beautiful watches but the white didn’t look right on me. When on put that black one on tho I immediately fell in love

Not daily but as rotation since I have other watches, though certainly they can be.

I did for 6 months then kept reaching for the sub. Daytona is supremely comfortable and I have zero issue with telling the time on it.

It’s NOT my daily, but easily could be if it were my only choice.

Has been on my wrist since 10 October when I received it.
My DD40 and BLNR must be getting lonely. But the Daytona is such a well balanced, easy watch to wear... I do find myself occasionally missing the date, but my laptop and iphone are always handy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I wore my SS Daytona daily for 10 years, it looked pretty battered with lot's of scratches on the bracelet and the numbers on the crown looked crap.
Sent it to the dealer in Dubai for a service and crown replacement and it came back looking like new. Great watch and amazing service from the dealer. |

Is not a Daytona just a watch like any other Rolex watch and all Rolex watches are meant for one thing only to tell your the time on the wrist.

Wear it most of the time from Mon-Fri. Always find some reason to use the chrono.. though mostly lunch or meeting times!
The lack of date doesn’t really matter as am usually at my computer so date is in the lower right of the screen! Switch it up on the weekend.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know it may look like I come after you a lot in here but your responses are literally always the same: rather sarcastic and negative. Why?

I think all Rolex watches can be a daily watch as they are all built very robust. It’s your own personal style that will know what watch is calling to you. As far as any fear of wearing a wrist watch is something you should quickly get over as we don’t have long on this earth. Not wearing and “saving” your watch is like not sleeping with your girlfriend so the next guy can thank you for thinking of him.

Agreed. If I had, (really HAD!) to give my others, I could easily live with the Daytona as my forever watch. It’s perfect in every way. Like you, I rotate and switch every couple of weeks, always enjoying each timepiece as I go.

I rotate often and my BLNR usually takes most of the wrist time, but can and do wear my DaytonaC often.

I have had a subC for exactly 10 years and have been wearing it daily until about 5 months ago when I got back into watches again. I picked up a 40mm EXP2 polar and realized how comfortable it is compared to my SubC and started to wear that more often.
I then bit the bullet and purchased a SS Daytona (steel bezel) i got this for my 40th birthday which is not till the end of Jan and deceived to wait till then to size and wear it. I did however put it on when I first received it and even though it needs a link removing I can already tell that it’s going to be the most comfortable on wrist. The weight is perfect and the balance of the smaller case size compared to the SubC but with very solid bracelet is just perfect. I’m mailing patiently to begin enjoying it. I was on the edge of buying a TT daytona but knew I would only wear in certain situations and so glad I ponied up the extra $$$ for the SS so that I can wear it anytime and on a daily basis. |

Not SS, but both are worn as dailies. Sometimes I’ll swap one for the other midday.

Anyone wear their oysterflex Daytona’s in a more formal setting? Suits or business casual?
