Do Rolex even care?

Why do we work ourselves up with polls or demands or wants lists?

Red on the dial? Polished centres links? Date on a Daytona? Shade of blue on the TT Sub? SELs? New improved clasps?

Does Rolex listen?

On the evidence of Basel and the direction of their product evidently not.

I still care about the brand and stand by it but I'm losing faith with the modern product (aside from the GV) and I find it tiring to get all worked up about watch sizes, date or non dates or whatever.

Rolex will do what Rolex wants...they couldn't care less about us.
