Yes I love that RG Daytona! It would be my 2nd choice, after the YG Daytona. But not easy to find at the moment, unless I am willing to pay a premium.

The SkyD is gorgeous but not sure how much I would wear it.

Thanks for the great suggestion. But my wife owns the YG Daytona green so that's not really an option for me.

I would say a new sub, but if you wish to stay with PM, Platinum day/date.

Go vintage, Double red sea Dweller, Paul Newman Daytona. Or it is a gut punch for me to say this: Philippe Patek

I'd like to educate myself more on the vintage Rolex market before making a big purchase like the Paul Newman Daytona.

I am actually on the hunt for a 5164 Travel Time to go with my 5980r, 5146r and 5396g but it's been tough to find one at a "fair" price. Just have to remain patient for the right opportunity to come along.

You have some heavy hitters.
My suggestion would be to go grass roots. A sub 114060.
Something you can wear day to day without care...either cutting the grass, or changing tires on your quad. Kidding.....as you could do that with any in your collection! Truly.
In seriousness, find something you like. You'll be happier that way.

I would add a high quality bamboo fly rod and some casting lessons. You've spent enough $$ on watches.

A white dialled watch would look good in that collection.

Or a platinum day date

Great suggestion Neil! A friend of mine just picked up a 4-digit YG Sub. The nipple dial does look incredible - but it was naked, and had obviously been "aggressively" polished. I would give serious consideration to one if it were complete with box + papers.

Thanks for the good laugh Rob! I'd be very happy if I could add a YG Daytona to this mix. Until then, I'll enjoy wearing what I have!

I had this Daytona in 2019 and regrettably let it go to fund something else. At the time, I thought I could easily re-acquire it. But it's been very tough to find a PM Daytona in the past year.

You're right, a YG Daytona with white dial would fit nicely into this collection.

The 116508 with black dial would be a nice addition, just is not anything at lower prices anymore. I like the fact you want to go to pre ceramic. The five digits just have a better flow of their case design. You can see that similar 5 digit flow in your newest DD40 just under 40mm these are perfectly designed. Since you are building a fabulous collection and asking for free advice, then I will give mine here for free of course. Yes to the 16618 but perhaps two considerations. If I had the 11618 with blue dial, and blue bezel, maybe swap your 11613 for a champagne or silver Serti dial. or consider getting the 11618 in a Serti dial. My.02.

That is a very nice model. The white dial suits you, and slots in your collection nicely.

I had picked up an SS Pepsi in December and it stayed in my collection for exactly 10 days. The jubilee bracelet didn't sing to me.

My long term "goal" is to acquire a WG Pepsi with the blue dial. The solid feel of full gold on oyster bracelet is ideal! This reference is very pricey at the moment though.
