Yeah, I was wondering why no one was mentioning the problems on the dial. The machining on the dial looks pretty good but the printing is really bad. The kerning is terrible and the cyclops is really cloudy. Coronet is super wonkey as well. You can blame Rolex for bad QC on some issues, but when you have this many on the same watch, it usually doesn't bode well. The only place where you see this many issues on the same watch is on replicas.

Just in case someone misinterprets your not-so-crystal-clear statement:

The watch itself is not "fake af". It's a genuine DJ that has been "customized" (i.e. completely ruined) with diamond lugs, junk dial, and an aftermarket bezel. All diamonds in question are probably of the lowest quality available.

Sadly, this is a common M.O. of several pre-owned dealers/flippers.

This.

Doesn't bode well if that's her taste in watches.

Not my cup of tea at all but if thats what she likes then thats her choice, Just make sure you trust the seller before pulling the trigger and get the watch checked out at a sc to make sure its running ok.

FWIW, the date wheel of the watch appears to be aftermarket. The dead giveaway is the font numbers as seen in the initial photo and in the text message photo. I won't go into specifics on that so as to avoid giving important information to unscrupulous types who may be reading this thread, but the date wheel isn't right, IMHO. Given that, I would be suspicious of the rest of the watch.

Just to pile on: That watch originally would have come with a lume dial, as the hands have lume (or those aren't original, either). The final link on one end of the bracelet also appears to have come from an all-stainless Jubilee bracelet.

They're not even all of the same watch. Coronet on the crown looks to point in different directions in different pics.

Nice, I'd rather her wear that than a Michael Kors
