Interesting. What costs are these brands helping to foot? And on what terms?

Supposedly production dropped from a planned 40k+ to 36-37k watches in 2020, including 3000 instead of a planned 4000 CODE. Should hopefully not be enough to put ADs/BTs under, and is definitely not the reason for empty cases. The BTs I have visited always have cool stuff in the back, waiting for pick up.

My AD buddies tell me business has never been better despite COVID... that the influx of disposable income has more than made up for smaller allocations. The cases are empty because pieces are pre-sold (and with increased frequency, paid in full via deposit).

I have to admit something: the more I keep looking at the code and remembering how well it fit my wrist when I tried them on - I kind of want one now. Price is still an issue but I might pull the trigger this year in a weak moment:)
