If indeed the 14060M NDS goes out of production, the COSC model will be quite valuable. It has had a life of around 2 years to date. (Correct me if I am wrong please). Prior to that it was the non COSC type.

I just read speculation about a new Sub -- That's all. I figured if a new Sub went into production, maybe the price of older Subs would go down. However, all the posts, including yours, have explained why that wouldn't be the case.

The 14060M is a mass produced watch. There are already a lot of COSC watches out there.

The dial is also a replaceable service part, so presumably the dial its self will be supplied for some time to come even if the watch is discontinued.
