In my case, I ended up going with an E/E with the Daytona, which is pretty good...but the correct fit for me would have been a D/F, however, all the way in was too tight and with the easy link out, too loose. So, I live with it.

C'mon, Rolex. You can do better than that.
Wait, does the OF on the WG Daytona NOT have a GlideLock Clasp? Since i got my RG YM, and enjoy that innovation so much......it could be a deal breaker.

I agree, OP! Sold mine, but if it ever gets Glidelock like other OF models, I will buy it back.

It does not. None of the OF Daytona's have it, sadly. Although my hope is that enough of us bitch about it on the forum, someone at Rolex will do something about it someday.

I own both the YM and the 519, and enjoy a good fit on both, the only difference being I can get the clasp centered with the correct straps and the glide lock.

As to being a deal breaker, though...not necessarily. It all depends on your wrist size/shape. You could very well be one of the fortunate ones it fits w/o needing the "in between" adjustment of the glide lock, so, don't make that decision prematurely.

I got my Daytonas set up good.

The easy link works perfectly on fitment for winter vs summer... or during the cold when the wrist warms up.

I initially really missed glidelock, but with the micro adjustment set correctly, easy link is all I need.

After seeing a 116515 in person... that thing was orb darn epic. Nothing about it was understated... but it was a whole lot of watch.
