Who talked about a new GMT? Just a bracelet change, same model number. It happened in the past with the 5-digit model.

Doubt it. From a pure product perspective Rolex needed to differentiate the GMT product line from the Sub line outside of the bezel and a polish down the center links. The sports jubilee has completely made the GMT line instantly recognizable from the sub.

My money is on no changes at all for GMT line this year.

Exactlly. Can't wait for April 7 to come and go so we can wildly speculate on the next "thing".

I prefer the jubilee. GMT on oyster seems to me just a sub with polished center links.

Howdy,

Agreed. Heck, I miss the good old days when we obsessed about the under-magnification of our cyclops and wether we could get 10% off on stainless or 20% off on a PM model.

Take care,

Ruddiger

Wondering why the teaser ends with a shot of an Oysterlock clasp since the Explorer II already has it. To me makes sense that it is teasing something other than status quo, perhaps with Oyster bracelet options for another model, like the GMT.

The speculation and hype that always transpire during the 5 days from teaser to reveal are always a hoot, often more fun than the actual reveal itself. Anyhoo just a couple more days and we will know either way.

This makes sense given how unpopular the jubilee GMT is. Seems like ADs have been struggling to get rid of them over the past 3-4 years.

Or it could be a new glidelock clasp for the Exp2.

Sure hope the leave the Jubilee bracelet it's the most comfortable watch I ever put on my wrist you forget it's on. I had a Submariner for 12 years it was ok but not even close to this in comfort. And it separates the GMT from a dive watch. When it's perfect leave it alone.

Looks like he was right and the doubters were wrong - but of course we now have a repeat thread gaining traction.

Moderates can lock up this one up.

I remember someone asked Marc Goldberg how to tell between a standard 16610 with a green insert and a true 16610LV if you're searching for one on the secondary market.

He said something along the lines of "Well obviously it's key to buy one from the right seller, because there's no way to tell them apart."

Haven't watched his videos since.

Who is Marc Goldberg? Does he work at Rolex in Geneva? If not then he doesn't know any more about what Rolex is going to do than my parrot does...

Anyone who says the word unsubstantiated a dozen times or more in the first three minutes of a video is not to be trusted.

Anyone who uses the terms Batman and Batgirl in reference to a watch is not to be taken seriously.
