As I recall the 36mm explorer was a slow mover.

I would be a surprised if it maintained broad interest beyond a year.

The Explorer 39 was also a slow mover from its inception all the way through it’s discontinuation..

The Explorer was never a popular watch, and until 2019 was sitting in display windows for a long time. I really doubt there is going to be an actual waiting list for it.
