BBN ETA is not thickest.

BB ETA : 12.8mm
BB in house : 14.8mm

This BB Chrono: 14.9mm

It’s a great looker but Tudor needs to design it smaller and thinner.

I stand corrected! Either way - THICK! But love my ETA, so it isn't going anywhere.

I was going to buy on yesterday too but I passed.

I'm going to proceed with the new IWC 3881-04 Pilot Chrono. The new inhouse movement, the dials, the open caseback has sealed the deal for me.

You made the right choice imho. Just because it says "Rolex" or "Tudor" on the dial means nothing if it doesnt do it for you.

This chrono is 14.4 mm. Slightly smaller than the former case

I - for one - think this is a fantastic chrono.
I'm thinking of adding one to my collection.
Would look pretty sweet next my 79230N Black Bay.

I wear the bb gmt daily and although I like the watch for various reasons, I can't help but at times think this is a homage and I think market performance has suffered due to it.
This is not entirely true. I had a Daytona, couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. I now have a Zenith and completely dig it. I had a white 500 and found it to be one of the least legible watches I have ever owned, and it wore small on my wrist as well. The new Chronomaster (black this time) is sized right, way more legible, and to me, debatably more sporty.

Love the new Black Bay Tudor Chrono ! Although it does seem to pay homage to it's more illustrious big brother the Daytona, I believe it has it's own character and can stand on it's own. Both are winners but I think I prefer the Panda. Hopefully I'll get to check one out soon!

I picked up the reverse panda on black NATO. I am super stoked on it so far. It’s my first chrono

I know I'm going to get flamed, but when it comes to chronographs, it's tough to beat the Speedmaster. That's the only chronograph I will ever need.

Wish it were thinner as well, however the Mod B-01 Movement is pretty darn accurate.

!
The breitling b01 caliber is only 0.65mm thicker than the Rolex 4130 and the development of a in house chronograph caliber is way more difficult than one in house simple automatic. The chronograph is probably the most difficult movement for a company to manufacture .

I tried the new Speedie on a few weeks ago. Was surprised how ‘cheap’ it felt.... the bracelet was loose and jingly, its tapers to too thin as well...
Not a fan of that high crystal shape either and the case head felt awkward & sharp. The Speedie looks awesome in promo shots - top down. But in person, gotta say, I was pretty disapointed with it.
The Tudor chrono, on the other hand felt like a watch twice the price (or the price of a Speedie ) IMO...

Ended up picking up a birth year 16800 with matte dial instead...should be coming in tomorrow!

Glad I didn't just buy the chrono because it was a great price or it's the new hot thing. I know others will love theirs, but it just didn't hit all the wickets for me; while I spent more than double the price of the chrono for the 16800 (I had every intention of not buying anymore watches after selling 2, and then the chrono came along and it was like why not?), it just speaks to me more at this point.

Needed something to wear on a leather strap since there was a hole burning in my watchbox (RIP Tudor Snowflake), and this will fill it right up.

Wanted the Chrono but due to sizing issues ordered the BB925 instead.
I couldn't disagree more.

Who said the watch was designed to be worn above the wrist?

You, I suppose--Captain of the Wrist Patrol.

I wear all my watches loose as a goose and that's the most comfortable way in my humble judgement.

I tend to agree with this. But still a beautiful watch.

I like the legibility\readability of that watch. It just pops.

Black dial is the way to go on this one. The black looks quite sharp, too. The white dial is pretty much illegible at a glance--at least from my experience in the store.
