Completely agree with this. Had a look at both at my AD fully expecting the white to be the one that sang to me but the lack of contract and legibility in person was quite astonishing.

Get the 2 of them and keep 2k instead of a Daytona :)

that's not entirely true, the polished hands pick up a lot of light from the outlines and it looks like it has black edges. I have no problem seeing the time, in this model the photographs are very misleading, naturally the readability is perfect.

I guess we have to agree to disagree on the matter. I found the hour markers and polished edges on the hands blend into the opaline dial too easily. Now had they blackened the edges of the hands and hour markers like the Polar Ex2 it would’ve been perfection.

Reverse for sure

As others stated there is a legibility issues in the photos for panda , white dial, white hands, white markers...

I picked up the black dial from my AD as they did not have the white dial version. I would have bought both and I passed on the Silver Black Bay 58. I am down to get the next white dial from my AD.

Reverse is the one with the Tudor. Tried on the new Brietling Chronomat 42 Panda (Silver and Black) yesterday. Its killer. Liked the Rouleaux bracelet too.

I picked the reverse one because of the better contract.

The black is a better all round watch. However I picked the white for a bit of contrast to my collection of mainly black dials.

Looked at both yesterday. Really nice! The reverse was on a bracelet, the Panda on a strap. Quite a weight difference with the strap being considerably lighter.

While I like the look of the White Panda I found the hands were not very visible. They almost blended in with the face. Should have been outlined in black not silver. Same issue with the seconds dial too.

I have worn it for 5 days straight and I have yet to have any issues reading the time on any light. The markers and hands do not blend at all with the dial and the silver outlines are perfect. This was executed perfectly by Tudor and you can tell it was done with purpose.

I ended up buying the panda, but had a chance to try on both - you can't go wrong - both look great.

I have also been using the panda these days and I have no problem seeing the time, the hands with the light turn black at the edges. you have to have it to know that there is no problem. it cannot be judged by photographs alone. Tudor has done a great job

I also vote for the white. If I wanted a black dial chrono, I would buy a speedmaster.

I'd go with white since I don't have a white dialed watch in my collection. I think both look great though.

The reverse is more practical for actually telling the time at a glance but the white is an absolute beauty in the flesh.

Wrist presence is off the scale, even my wife who couldn't care less about watches was cooing a bit over this one.

I am still trying to get over the fact that Tudor are retailing this in the UK at £3,900 on the bracelet. I bet their rivals hate them!

Damn that’s creepy.

I still have an Ernie from when I was a kid. Also really freaky looking. Scared the heck out of my kids.

I must be creepy too. I painted his long gone eyeballs with a magic marker.
