Depends really. I really like this one:

However it comes with some compromises that I am not willing to make.

You could probably get a Lange Saxonia thin for $15k from an AD. They retail for $17k but I’m sure you could get a discount. Put it on a more casual strap and that’s a great everyday piece. That’s probably what I’d do.

For under $15K, if you preferred Rolex, I would go for Datejust 41:

TT YG or TT RG: Wimbledon dial or

TT RG: Chocolate dial

They are gorgeous and can be dress watch or all around watch.

No date, must be sized with a block and hammer, no lume, not enough taper in the bracelet IMO (stops too soon).

I genuinely like it though. If I became an overnight billionaire, I would buy many variants of the OF.

Blancpain Villeret Complete Calendar. Just handled one. Pics DO NOT DO JUSTICE. Sorry JLC fans, held the BP in one hand and JLC UTMoon in the other, quickly put the JLC back. And 14,900 (just under!)

I have a deposit on this grand seiko spring drive. It’s around $10,000.
Should be out this summer?

Hard to beat this at the price you're looking for. And with that nice power reserve, I'm thinking about tracking one of these down. I'd wear the hell out of it.
