I've yet to see one here in NYC. Plenty of Batmans, SS Subs, and Daytonas (both 116500 and 116520) though, but I haven't seen many LVs

Haven’t seen one in the wild yet, but I’m excited to be picking one up from my AD this Friday!

This is oddly true. A lot of hipsters wear the older DJ36 or an Apple Watch if anything. I’m always surprised how little wrist candy I see in Nashville. When I go to the “Rolex events” there the watch I see the most is the white ceramic Daytona. The last event I went to I must have seen 6 or 7 of them. I wore my Blue SkyD. Other then those types of events I don’t see many new rolexes in the wild. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Rare at retail, I think is the new norm. Rare, not so much.

When I gave my AD my wish list recently he told me not to ask for the Daytona , blue face Sky dweller and the LV. Assuming allotment of the LV is on par with those I’m guessing we don’t see them because they have only been out for 8 months. Let’s give it five years…

I agree with this. I live in a big city with plenty of wealth and see maybe one other Rolex a week other than my own. I might get one comment on mine a month if that and it’s always the BLRO, the Daytona doesn’t seem to be noticed.
Exceptions will be at the watch store or big sporting events, etc. Only LV I have seen was at the introduction trunk show. |

How many new 126610 LVs do you see in the wild?
In Los Angeles I’ve seen a fair amount of Hulks but haven’t seen a Cermit yet

I haven’t seen any in the wild, just mine. Side note, i don’t wear my hulk anymore, the new 126610 LV is more comfortable, sits lower on the wrist, although feels a bit heavier

I’m like you. I have retired the hulk. I can’t believe I prefer to wear the 126610 LV. It’s definitely a rare bird to see in the wild. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well anything that hasn’t been out long could be deemed rare. I personally think it looks a million times better than the Hulk so I look forward to finally seeing one in the metal.

Just picked mine up today! Loving it. Funny enough, when I went to pick it up there was a guy also wearing one. I think he was looking at jewelry for his wife for their anniversary. First time I’d seen another one in the wild.

I saw a random one on an older gentleman at a local gas station. It’s an affluent area.
